I am an ACCA qualified accountant and fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with over 20 years experience in a range of roles including Corporate Finance Senior Manager, Due Diligence Manager and Audit Assistant Manager and Mazars LLP, Europes fifth largest firm of accountants where I qualified.

I also have over 12 years of commercial experience in industry as a finance director with full responsibility for statutory accounts and liaising with auditors, business planning, financial budgeting and forecasting and monthly reporting, managing a team of finance professionals.

Finance Director reporting to the board of directors of this planned property maintenance and void property refurbishment specialist in the social housing sector.

Manage staff of 5 including 2 accounts and admin staff and 3 supervisors with full accounting and financial reporting accountability,

Functional responsibility includes statutory year-end accounts, strategic business planning, financial budgeting, cash flow forecasting, presenting monthly financial accounting packs including variance analysis & commentary, preparation of KPI reporting packs, management of taxes and payroll, construction industry scheme (CIS) reporting, business insurance, data protection registration.

Full accountability for HR function including Investors in People, performance development reviews, recruitment and discipline policy. Full accountability for IT function including maintenance of all hardware, software and servers.
