CEO and Founder, Risto is a DPhil chemical engineer specialising in bioprocessing with 8 years’ experience in the development of hollow fibre membrane technologies and biomaterials. During his DPhil at the University of Oxford, he developed novel vascular-inspired hollow fibre membranes and taught mathematical modelling of biological systems. While at Imperial College London, as part of the Biological Engineering Systems Laboratory, he worked on developing hollow fibre membrane technologies for red blood cell production
