Ryan Harvey

I am a confident Mathematician that has had previous experience working with formulae on computers. I can confidently work alone, but also work well as part of a team. Previous work includes being able to adapt to this independent to team dynamic.

I am looking for employment in the finance sector in hopes of developing further skills and contributing to a company on a larger scale.

I have previous experience working in Accountancy, dealing with high pressure situations and a constant workload that kept me busy. My rolls would include:

• Preparing accounts for various clients, including restaurants and football clubs 
• Organising, maintaining and returns records in filing room 
• Contributing in the preparation of audits for clients 
• Issuing invoices to client for usage of software 
• Training up new staff members 
• Inputting Opening Balance Adjustments to clients own online records 
• General IT assistance to help efficiency of work

I also worked during my university years at the weekends in a Tesco's Supermarket, as part of the Dot.com department which deals with customers grocery deliveries.

Outside of the above, I also do part time private mathematics tutoring, where I help students of all ages improve their mathematical capabilities. 

During my school years, I partook in work experience in a finance department. This included tasks that were both on and off department, such as:

• Invoicing 
• Spreadsheet creation and editing 
• Receipting 
• Payment Chasing
• Mailing 
• Enrolling new students to the college

I have completed and achieved a 2-1 in a Mathematics with Education degree. This involved mathematics, but also working on and around coding software, as well as working in classrooms for the education part of the degree. My dissertation was also around education, and tackled the impact technology can have on a students ability to learn in a mathematics classroom.

My other education accolades includes achieving ACC in my A-Levels, which are in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Geography respectively. For my GCSE's, I achieved 11 A*-C grades, with 2 A*'s in Mathematics and Level 2 Further Mathematics.
