I prefer to be a more hands on learner, in which I am a believer in specialisation which if someone has vast experience doing a particular job then in time, they will become more efficient and therefore increasing workload capabilities. Being a visual learner and being more hands on allows this process to speed up as compared to learning from a book or a teacher teaching hundreds of people and expecting them to go away and learn themselves.

Experience: Starting work with Primark at the age of 16 meant that I was entering at a fast-paced environment with endless possibilities to learn important skills. Originally being on the customer service desk, this meant that I had to take care of any customer enquiries ranging from stock availability to customer returns. An important skill I took from that was patience, the skill to realise that everybody is unique and that not everybody would react the same way once upon deciding the outcome as for example, some may get defensive or frustrated yet some may be more understanding. 

At 17 I was entrusted with a prestigious chance to work within the cash office of my Primark store, this entailed working from manually taking cash out of the tills to counting the money collected and stored within the safe. This showed towards my managers that I was a trustworthy and reliable working for them since a total of 3 people aside from managers had access to the cash office and only 1 person working daily. An important skill I learnt from this was good hand to eye coordination since I would be counting cash quickly and efficiently everyday.
