Highly motivated and progress focused individual with a long-standing background in operational management, with almost a decade of experience in the Traffic Management industry I have gained valuable skills in leadership, operational management and commercial awareness which have led me to take a leading role within the business.
I’m a hardworking and technical savvy professional with the ability to solve any problem that comes my way, in my current role as Contracts Manager I contribute to the overall operational excellence of the South-England region which includes, managing major contracts, staff, plant & labour, training, driving digital products to new and existing clients, health & safety and revenue management.
Experience
Oversee invoicing processes to align with project milestones and resolve billing discrepancies promptly. Spearhead contract negotiations to ensure adherence to terms and reduce project delays. Utilize contract and operational management systems, including CEMAR and ERP, to streamline processes. Collaborate with the commercial team on pricing activities and submitting target prices for work orders. Contribute to monthly cost review meetings and employ a data-driven approach to boost performance and drive continuous improvement. Nurture strong relationships with all stakeholders, suppliers, and customers at various levels
Supervised execution of traffic management operations across the South of England to assure strategic sales development, operational planning, and program delivery. Monitored Traffic Management (TM) department, incorporated business control, and implemented strategies in line with company objectives. Reviewed and updated Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to maintain up-to-date document library. Partnered with Director of TM and the Group Managing Director to devise business growth strategies and strong business cases. Liaised with colleagues across various sectors, including Telecoms, Water, Gas, and Civils, to enable smooth program execution.
