Sanelisiwe Kawere

My name is Sanelisiwe Kawere. I am a Registered nurse. I have been a qualified nurse for 12 years. During my experience as an Adult Nurse I have developed excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. I have been able to work under my own initiative. I also value teamwork and I am a good team player and I believe this benefits the staff , patients and relatives.  I am hard worker, empathic and caring. I am passionate about making a difference in other people’s lives.

Carrying out assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation when providing care.

Good practice evidence-based nursing.

Carrying out documentation and computer work.

Administering medication, injections, setting up intravenous fluids, medication and blood transfusion.

PEG,NG feeds and care.

ECG and cardiac monitoring.

Observing patient’s care, treating patients with respect and dignity and maintaining confidentiality.

Carrying out admission, discharges and referrals to  diabetes nurses, speech and language therapy nurses, continence nurses, dietician nurses and tissue viability nurses.

Changing dressings, removing drains and catheter care.

Inserting catheters and catheter care.

I have been a qualified nurse for 12 years. Areas I have worked on include surgical wards, medical wards, Acute wards,PACU and Assessment units.
