I have forty years experience of working within mental health services in a wide variety of environments ,more recently working in community based settings as a Senior Recovery Practitioner, managing a wide and varied caseload of very different mental health presentations.

I have experience of working with a wide range of age groups,including young people.

I am very proficient at assessing and formulating individual plans of care and support and recognising the needs of individuals and working in partnership to provide the best outcomes possible.

I am extensive experience of safeguarding and risk assessing.

I have worked within in patient settings, working on acute wards also elderly wards, rehabilitation and PICU wards.

I have worked in the drug and alcohol service within a community setting.

I have worked in several prisons working again within the integrated drug service but also within the general hospital wings, including psychiatric units.

For several years i have worked in different community teams.

I have completed my ADOS 2 Autism Assessment Training and am proficient with SCM (Structured Clinical Management) which is widely recognised as a formulation tool for Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorders.

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse.

I keep up with my mandatory training every year as required by my professional body-the NMC.

I have completed ADSO 2 Autism Assessment Training.
