Sharon Arlene Anderson

I have had the privilege of working as a classroom teacher for 15 years, and I have recently retired. During my time as a teacher, I learned so much and met some wonderful learners who taught me a lot about life. After my teaching career, I worked as a  senior regional officer with an education union for nine years. This was a rewarding experience and I was able to use my expertise to help educators and learners across the region. I am grateful for all the experiences that I have had in my career, and I am excited to see what the future holds. I have lived in Maidenhead since 2018 and during this time I have worked as a freelance associate with “Representation Matters” an organisation which trains and supports institutions looking to develop their practice around issues of equality and diversity. I am a keen photographer and am now a member of Maidenhead Camera Club. I have four grandchildren of school age who keep me on my toes and up to date!
