Finova/DPR Group Limited is a technology powerhouse that specialises in finacial products. DPR has web portals and back-office applications that are consumed by mortgage lenders, mortgage and savings customers, intermediaries, mortgage underwriters and case owners. As a BA I worked on end-to-end mortgage functionality however my focus was origination. Worked on New mortgage journeys, Post contract variations, Residential, BTL, LTD BTL, Special Schemes, Self-build, Expat mortgages, short term mortgages such as bridging, regulatory changes and documents including ESIS specification.

• As a lead business analyst/PM with DPR I worked for ‘mortgage lender’ client’s and worked on improving the core product and processes.
• Conducted and supported client workshops for the critical and large-scale upgrade projects (Over 1M) to gather project requirements.
• Lead team of BAs on two upgrade projects for two of the oldest DPR clients. These projects were to bring existing DPR clients in line with the latest template (product).
• Supported project planning activities working closely with the Programme manager.
• Owned and managed 100+ product specifications overall between the two upgrade projects including configurations, workflows and wireframes.
• Wrote release specifications for major releases, internal and external.
• Worked extensively with the clients throughout the process of releases. Helped increase confidence in the projects through precise, timely and useful reporting.
• Worked closely with a team of developers and testers offshore to implement changes.
• Mentored new BA’s/PMs/Developers to deepen system knowledge, mortgage expertise, create client relationships and improve overall quality of the deliverables.

I initially started as a .net programmer moved into testing, learning and working my way up to Lead Test Analyst position in testing services. My responsibilities were to,

Project performed quality assurance testing for the client’s Central Lender Processing System (LPS) and broker website (ESub) with scope expanded to include other interfacing applications such as Prospect, CAMS, Fraudmark, and LOSM. I supervised 6-person team, serving as a mentor to new and existing team members while coordinating with DBA’s, developers, and other teams at various geographical locations.
