Experience

• COVENTRY UNIVERSITY GROUP (LONDON) – CREATIVE CONTENT WRITER (JULY 2023–PRESENT) 

I work within the marketing team in London to create content across various channels including YouTube video scripts, social posts, web pages and more, always keeping tone of voice in mind. Serving as a strong creative voice within the group, I write up and conduct frequent interviews with students and edit the videos to create polished content tailored to the user journey for the university’s digital platforms. 

• WOWCHER – HEAD OF TRAVEL CONTENT (JULY 2022–JULY 2023) • WOWCHER – SENIOR CONTENT EXECUTIVE (DECEMBER 2021–JULY 2022) • WOWCHER – TRAVEL CONTENT EXECUTIVE (NOVEMBER 2019–DECEMBER 2021) 

I provided descriptive and engaging product descriptions, social copy and guide pages across the Wowcher website and social channels. I managed and mentored new content writers to teach them our technical Content Management System, how to use Photoshop for product imagery and brand tone of voice. I also stayed up to date with current social media trends to create engaging TikToks and Instagram reels for the brand’s audience. 

• POPULAR EVERYTHING (ZIPPOR MEDIA) – CONTENT WRITER (JAN 2019–NOV 2019) 

I researched and wrote articles for the Popular Everything website, covering a range of pop culture stories. I adhered to a content calendar to ensure all articles were well planned, identifying content gaps and improving our marketing strategy. I carried out research using Google Trends to discover current news that would make for relevant content and pitched these ideas to the content team before writing.
