Sophie Mason

I am a 22 year old psychology and sociology graduate. I gained a first class honours degree from the University of Stirling. I currently work in retail and volunteer at a local community preschool. I have a passion for working with children and young people, I love to help children grow and learn and flourish in the learning environment. I would love to gain a teaching qualification and work with children and young people in the future.

I currently work in retail at the Gretna Green famous old blacksmiths shop, I have worked within this company for 6 years while at school and university, and have worked full time over the last year. I am responsible for opening, cashing up and closing the shop. Within the shop is a takeaway in which I am also trained as a barista. I am used to working in a fast paced, busy environment and thrive in this setting.
