An enthusiastic Sports Teacher holding a BSc (Honours) Degree Sport and Exercise Science and working towards a Master’s in Education (mED). Currently teaching Sport and Physical Education at Bradford College, where we envision transforming lives through outstanding teaching and learning. I am highly passionate about supporting students to maximise their potential, improving their fine motor skills and wider transferrable skills in Sports Education. Through my experience working with a broad spectrum of students with varying learning needs and abilities in multicultural City of Bradford, I aspire to inspire learners to develop their soft skills and confidence for their next stages of education and future employment. I strive to ensure that I provide an inclusive approach to cater for all students learning needs, through building an organic natural teacher pupil rapport by making students feel at ease and to maximise student learning experience. 

• Planning and delivering theory and practical based content for Pearson BTEC entry level Sports that are safe, inclusive, stretching and relevant to learners’ needs

• Developing enrichment and progression opportunities for learners through collaboration with employers, higher education and/or community groups

• Applying appropriate and fair methods of assessment and provide constructive and timely feedback to support progression and achievement for my learners

• Providing a fair and inclusive range of opportunities to stretch and challenge learners of diverse abilities and disabilities to cater for a broad spectrum of learners’ needs

• Organising progress reviews with students, monitoring progression and setting targets supporting them work towards future goals (progressing into higher education or into employment)

• Developing and updating knowledge of your subject specialism, taking account of new practices, research and/ or industry requirements

• Sharing and updating knowledge of effective practice with colleagues, networks and/or research communities to support improvement

• Providing access to up-to-date information, advice and guidance so that learners can take ownership of their learning and make informed progression choices
