16 years experience as Charge Nurse/Shift Lead for Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Post-Partum, Neonatal Intensive Care, and Triage. 

Maternity Center – Labor Delivery, Mother Baby and NICU. Responsible for staffing 3 units, coordinating planned care with available staff, implementing the plan, and evaluating the care delivered to assigned patients. Responsible for the direction, assignment, coordination, evaluation and supervision of patient care on a specified unit. Identify and solve patient related problems. Contribute to self-development and unit leadership by teaching and supervising co-workers. Perform all work under minimal supervision. Provide direct patient care as needed in the maternity center – Labor Delivery, NICU and Mother Baby.  Responsible for the care of laboring patients and postpartum couplets.  Triage of Antepartum and intrapartum patients, evaluation of acute and normalized pregnancy concerns.  Family-centered discharge education from admission through discharge highlighting infant security and follow-up care for mom and baby.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing - 2017.  Continuing education in all areas of maternity care and patient safety including, ACLS, BLS and NRP.
