Experience
Working as a Production Assistant and Secretary within the UK Film and TV industry.
A hybrid position, separated into onsite work as well as office time. Current responsibilities include:
- Clearance Assistant
Secured rights for items, products, and images used in production by liaising with copyright owners, legal teams, and international companies. Responsibilities included researching ownership, obtaining permissions, and drafting contracts to formalise agreements and fees.
-Accommodation
Booking in accommodation for full crew and cast on a weekly basis, whilst working with a budget and entering data into custom databases.
- Sustainability
Helping departments with sourcing more environmentally green products, such as fuel, food, costumes and building materials. Manage and compile resources into custom databases and submit data to ALBERT. Helping donate and recycle resources at the end of the job to reduce carbon footprint.
-Logistics
Booking in large-scale equipment, such as vehicles, camera equipment and mobile workstations, as well as contractors and other services. Arranging couriers for the transport of smaller items and organising internal mail within the production. Arranging Transport for Cast members.
-Office Administration
Booking in and handling all essential amenities, such as water, paper, and office supplies as well as essentials for other departments as well.
Formatting and printing documents/contracts/scripts for the crew, investors and external employees. using software such as Acrobat, Docusign and Office.
Producing cost report spreadsheets in Excel for spending of each department to present in cost report meetings.
