Uzma Jan

I am Uzma Jan GDC registered Dental Hygienist. I am married and we love to travel as a family, enjoying adventurous trips including camping across Iceland, off-roading through the Pyrenees and skiing.  I love to relax by switching on a podcast, and going for a healthy walk.

I am an experienced foreign qualified dentist who has recently been accepted on to the GDC register as a dental hygienist. I am passionate about dentistry and keen to help people with my skills as a dental hygienist. I am compassionate and will work in a gentle manner with your patients, ensuring that they receive the periodontal care they need and am able to reinforce your treatment philosophies.

I have been in the United Kingdom for several years and whilst studying and taking the CPD courses necessary, I have also worked as a dental assistant in several private dental practices. I have worked with both dentists and hygienists and have enjoyed learning the different ways that dental practices approach patient care.

When treating patients, I like to care for them so that it meets their expectations and takes into consideration their different personality types.

I have experience in using different dental software packages and can take dental photographs. I can take impressions for whitening, cast the models and make whitening trays.

I am mask fit tested and Covid vaccinated and am available for interview.
