About Yasmin Cordelia Brook:

Energetic, enthusiastic and hardworking is how I describe myself. I have demonstrated experience as an Assistant Stage Manager and Showcaller and can complete duties successfully. I ensure all my work is completed to a high standard and I welcome new challenges. I have demonstrated interpersonal skills by building positive relationships with production staff on past productions. I am eager to build my confidence and to prove to people my desire to succeed and dedication to work.

  • Languages – Fluent English, British Sign Language and basic Welsh.
  • Mac and PC proficient.
  • Excellent people and communication skills. As a stage manager, I have to communicate between different departments on a daily basis therefore I have become very efficient at relaying information correctly.
  • Reliable evidenced in being able to complete all work despite a heavy workload.

  • Storyhouse Young Company 2017 – 2018.
  • Storyhouse Young Leaders 2017 – 2018. A program for young people to gain insight into the creative industry and the running of a cultural centre.
  • General stagecraft training including using machinery, rigging lights and scenery, sewing skills, use of ladders and manual handling.
  • Completed the Industrial Cadets project (a STEM project through Airbus). A 10-week project set by Airbus to plan a sustainable school mentored by key staff. The project aims to gain girls interest in engineering careers and to gain transferable skills.
