A pioneering tech company working in the world of natural language processing, computer vision and artificial data is looking for Lead NLP Research Engineer to join their team.

Working on forward-thinking projects, the team looks to develop innovative solutionsto drive their core product forward.

What you'll be doingThis role would see you looking at researching and implementation of new techniques used for the development of new AI techniques used in text to video solutions.
You'll lead on the research and development of state-of-the-art NLP approaches.

You'll take on ownership of the whole ML lifecycle, working on projects end-to-end, working to deliver alongside the company's product and engineering team, testing and releasingnew features to the company's users worldwide.

As a lead in your department, you'll be responsible for hiring and managing NLP researchers to expand the company's NLP capabilities.

What experience you'll need:

At least 5 years proven commercial experience in NLP related projects looking at things like; sentiment analysis, natural language understanding, multilingual models, emotion detection etc.
Experience with managing a team of researchers.
Strong experience in applied mathematics, algorithm design and performance optimisation.
Excellent coding and software development skills including Python and Deep Learning frameworks such TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch.
Experience working on multimodal data using text, audio, and video is desirable.
