Interim Marketing Exec. - Managed Services


Duration: 6 Months Fixed Term

Location:
CPS + Remote


Reporting To:
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)


Objective:

The Interim Marketing Exec. will be responsible for re-invigorating the marketing efforts around Managed Service Provider (MSP) offerings at CPS.

This role involves strategic oversight and execution of marketing activities, both internally to align and energise the sales team, and externally to enhance customer engagement and acquisition.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Marketing Planning:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan covering shortterm (06 months) and longterm (6mths > 2 years) strategies aimed at promoting MSP services.
  • Analyse competitive market landscapes and adjust marketing strategies to meet business objectives.

Event Management:


  • Plan, execute, and oversee events with the support of MSP Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) / Head of Practice. This includes logistics, content, and overall event strategy.

Internal Marketing and Change Management:


  • Drive internal marketing initiatives to ensure sales team alignment with MSP marketing strategies.
  • Facilitate change management processes to secure buyin from internal stakeholders, promoting a cohesive approach to MSP marketing.

Content Creation and Management:


  • Oversee the creation of engaging content that resonates with both internal stakeholders and potential customers, including social media posts, blog articles, white papers, case studies and videos etc.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all platforms that aligns with CPS' brand and MSP objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Work closely with sales, customer service, IT, and other departments to ensure that marketing strategies are integrated across the company with consistent messaging.

Market Intelligence:


  • Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor strategies to maintain competitive advantage.

Customer Insights and Feedback:


  • Develop feedback loops with customers to gather insights that inform marketing strategies and product offerings.

KPIs and Metrics:


  • Define and track marketing metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of marketing activities and adjust plans as necessary.

Budget Management:


  • Manage the marketing budget for MSPrelated activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing ROI.

Reporting and Documentation:


  • Provide regular reports on marketing activities, outcomes, and strategic insights to the CTO and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in marketing management, preferably within the technology or managed services sectors.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and event management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence both internal teams and external partners.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Degree or similar in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
