About the team:

Our Business Analysts support the delivery of core products, systems, and processes and associated business initiatives.

Most of our work is within the context of strategic Enterprise Programmes which collectively cover every area of the Bank's activity.

We are looking for a Senior BA to come and join the team.

The Senior BA will be responsible for timely and quality provision of Business and Systems Analysis and associated services to the business, against the agreed internal & external change need.

In the context of this change itself will be migrating from a traditional waterfall context to ascaled agile environment. We'll be looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join us in that journey.


What you will be doing:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will typically engage with change from its inception. You will be responsible for the analysis approach and leadership throughout the lifecycle of the change.

This will require you to identifying and understanding the businessneeds, articulate agreed outcomes and elaborate the selected solution with relevant models, requirements and other change artefacts.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing delivery of BA activities across a programme of works to include multiple concurrent projects. This will include task oversight and quality review for BAs in your team.
  • Leading and facilitating system, process improvement workshops and resolve scoping issues and stakeholder conflicts.
  • Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group and third parties
  • Delivery of end to end traceability against quality business requirements and systeM/Functional specifications using appropriate templates
  • Conducting business impact assessments and feasibility studies as required

In return for your commitment:

We offer a base salary dependent on experience from £55,000 and a competitive benefits package.

Could you be the one?
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Previous work experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the Financial Services industry is essential
  • Previous experience of working with Mortgage and Savings, products and systems is desirable.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to define and document asis and tobe business processes/requirements, including facilitating workshops is essential
  • Excellent practical knowledge of utilising various tools, techniques & processes for elicitation and management of Business Requirements
  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis, CBAP or equivalent qualification
