- Liaison with the commercial teams to ensure that products can be manufactured on a commercial basis.
- To lead, coach and develop the finance assistant.
- Ensure financial controls are maintained and that monthly/weekly reporting accurately reflects the trading position.
- Takes the lead on month-end tasks for the division, ensuring key reconciliations.
- Ultimate custodian of the weekly accounts and monthly reporting cycle for the division.
- Oversees the production of the daily and weekly P&Ls.
- Provide the operations team early insight into performance gap through financial & operational analysis
- Operate as a Business Partner to site teams, understanding their operation, challenges and finding financial solutions.
- Ideally a qualified accountant however strong part-qualified will be considered
- Ideally a strong manufacturing background in FMCG (preferably Food)
- Experience of leading, coaching & developing people
- Advanced Excel skills including ifs, lookups, sumifs, pivots essential

This role is an integral part of the by-products finance team and will interface with the operations, procurement and site manufacturing teams, ensuring efficient, low-cost manufacture of products.
