- Opening/reopening client matters on the firm's systemsn
- Carrying out KYC checks with the addition of risk analysis relating to each client, ensuring all new clients are appropriately vetted and checks carried out in line with Curtis' compliance requirementsn
- Dealing with queries from finance, partners, fee earners and other staff relating to money laundering checksn
- Keeping accurate and up to date records of all contacts with partners/fee earners and ensuring there is a full audit trailn
- Assisting with updating KYC for long standing clients of the firmn
- Supporting the Compliance Officer and the firm's General Counsel on day to day tasks and projects (both new and on going)n
- Maintaining excellent knowledge of client checking and money laundering procedures and the relevant regulationn
- Assisting with annual high risk client reviewsn
- Assisting with the firm's annual internal auditn
- Assisting with the development of the firm's AML processes and proceduresn
- Dealing with general internal and external client queries
- Minimum of one year's recent experience in a compliance role, ideally within the legal sectorn
- Strong knowledge of AML requirements for non
- UK based clients, both European and internationaln
- Hands on, proactive approachn

The London office of Curtis is looking to recruit a Compliance Analyst with previous experience of working in the compliance department of an internationally recognised law firm in London.n£45,000 p.a.nPermanent ContractnCity of London (min. 4 days in the office per week)
A new and exciting role for a hands-on, proactive Compliance Analyst with at least one year's experience working in a similar role within an international law firm.
The successful candidate will support with our KYC and AML processes for both UK and international clients as well as maintaining an accurate information database.
