Job description:
We're recruiting for an exciting new
Continuous Improvement Manager opportunity witin our PRGM and Sales Operations team.


As Continuous Improvement Manager you will create, encourage and support a culture of continuous improvement within PRGM and Sales Operations, built through meaningful connections, proactive engagement, and communication with internal and external customers,and connecting to the wider business.


Key accountabilities
The
Continuous Improvement Manageris responsible for the management and transition of the following key outputs and accountabilities within the PRGM and Sales Operations team, accountable for the development and delivery of:

  • Draught Technical Services (DTS)
  • Responsible for the process mapping of asset management (book value c£11.5m).
  • Development and improvement of all reporting tools within DTS environment.
  • Custodian of the DTS assets, maintaining procedural documentation and ensuring full traceability.
  • Ensure reconciliation and visibility of all stock holding within Service Providers and the entire end to end supply chain.
  • Custodian of the Service Level KPI measures for each Service Provider. Ensuring corrective action is taken by the DTS team so that service targets achieved.
  • Leading and implementing initiatives to drive efficiency, cost reduction and income streams.
Automation

  • Make recommendations, with differing options, where mapped processes are highly suited to automation enabling greater resource efficiency.
  • Identify where CRM, or other solutions, could compliment mapped processes and work towards enabling a 360° view. E.G Asset visibility across different CRM user communities.
  • Ownership of local change requirements for CRM, understanding, collating, and validating needs of different user communities and provide challenge to fully test priorities.
  • Connect with #Digital BP to build business case/justification.
Sales Operations and Commercial Excellence

  • Establish mapping of key processes across sales execution (including administrative tasks) and sales operations supporting tasks.
  • Lead the improvement agenda to implement more efficient and/or effective processes in collaboration with customers (internal & external).
  • Maintain a process library with defined process owners.

Experience required

  • You are likely to have a background in operations management within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong people management skills are essential, and you will be expected to continually grow the capability of the individuals and team through coaching, problem solving and decision making.
  • Experience of working in a matrix management approach, across different functions and at differing levels within those functions.
  • Good Microsoft skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Excel to Intermediate / Advanced level.
  • Experience of mapping tools, for example, Visio, Signavio, is desirable.
  • Degree level educated
  • Curious to challenge where appropriate and suggest improvements where seen.
  • Ability to build consultative relationships with colleagues in other functions as needed.
  • Resilient with confidence to challenge business thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels across the organisation face to face or virtually/phone.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate this into insight and recommendations
  • Strong selfmanagement skills and a proactive initiator.
