    Description
    This position oversees Children's Ministry from birth to Grade 5, including Impact (after-school program).

    The primary role is to provide spiritual leadership and discipleship to children and parents in pursuing EBIC's mission of every generation growing together as Christ's hands and feet in our world .

    This person will work in partnership with the Youth Pastor to create a seamless and collaborative process for all involved within Family Ministries.

    Desire and ability to work within a staff culture that is team-oriented and feedback-driven
    Passion for ministry to children and the ability to connect and partner with parents
    Previous 1-2+ years of experience in children's ministry
    Current pastoral license or desire to pursue licensure within the Brethren in Christ Church
    Oversee Sunday morning and midweek programs
    Lead children's ministry leadership team
    Maintain children's database and check-in system
    Coordinate with worship staff to oversee children's choirs
    Provide leadership to the after-school program from grades 1-5(Tue & Thur 3:15-5:45)
    Welcome new children and parents into Family Ministries and lead families through the Child Dedication process
    Overall pathways and age transitions for children and parents within Family Ministries
    Volunteer training and appreciationevents
    Planning and implementation of family activities/events
    Timely communication with the church office per the Communication Plan
    Preaching/Speaking on various occasions (Children's Sunday, Child Dedication, etc.)
