    Description

    Job Title: Contract Manager at PLC Housing Developer

    Our client, an established PLC Housing Developer, is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee various residential projects for clients, including councils and local authorities across Peterborough, Leicestershire & Wellingborough.

    Our client takes great pride in crafting distinctive and high-quality spaces that enhance the community and provide long-lasting value to their customers. They achieve this by developing new homes and neighborhoods of enduring quality.

    • Reporting to the Area Build Director, the ideal candidate will manage multiple phases, production teams, sub-contractors, and labor forces.
    • Key responsibilities include pre-construction work, chairing client meetings, ensuring adherence to build schedules, recruiting new staff, and maintaining quality standards.

    Key Duties:

    • Provide clear direction to construction teams
    • Ensure projects adhere to specifications and timelines
    • Deliver regular progress reports
    • Control non-productive costs and extra expenditures
    • Train and support production teams

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in new build and volume build projects
    • Demonstrated ability to lead a full site team
    • Experience in pre-construction phases
    • SMSTS and CSCS Black qualifications are required
