The Company:

Our client is an international leading engineer and manufacturer of furniture for the retail sector.


They are looking for a new Business Unit Administrator to join their team due to heavy growth in the business.


Skills & Requirements of a Business Unit Administrator:

  • Must have proven experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within a manufacturing environment although this is not a pre-requisite
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages such as Office, Word, Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as on an individual basis

Role of a Business Unit Administrator:

  • Lead and control the day-to-day operational running of the Business Unit in line with Company standards, adhering to the parameters set by the Business Unit Manager
  • Ensure client satisfaction through excellent project and project initiative delivery, customer care and client communication
  • Support the Business Unit Manager in all sales growth activities
  • Enquiry Management
  • Project Files Creation/Maintenance
  • Customer Liaison
  • Customer Drawings/BIU Planogram/My Property Administration
  • Costing and price calculations from pricelists (within procedure)
  • Compiling and issuing quotations
  • Clarification of quotations to terms and conditions
  • Price Authorisation
  • Order review and order acceptance
  • Customer Equipment Specification Administration
  • Sales Order Processing / Confirmations (inc Click to Order/Spares Ordering)
  • Project Snagging/Extras Administration/Coordination
  • Initiative/Rollout Administration
  • MFG Pro System Administration
  • Sales & Operations Plans Administration
  • Final Accounts
  • Invoicing (within procedure)
  • Forecast Updates
  • Actively take part in the introductions of new processes and working tools within the Department
