Senior Developer - Java, .Net. C#, SQL12 months
Hybrid/London 2-3 days in the office
535 per day (Inside IR35)
The .Net developer is expected to form part of the L3 RTB development team and will work closely with a number of in-house service providers, business users, business analyst and stakeholders to implement new functionality and provide support for existing applications.
The role within the Operations IT team which manages .Net applications covering settlements, confirmations and post trade reporting across various asset classes including cash and metals.
The development team is currently looking into enhancing various aspects of the applications to meet business requirements across various asset classes and business functions.
This role is released to fulfil development requirements across the teams RTB L3 commitments.Key Responsibilities
Application Upgrade and Migration
Configuring and working with JBOSS Application Server 7
Strong development background on the Java platform, Java 8+
Experience with development on IntelliJ/Eclipse with Runtime Debugging
Experience of working with version control systems e.g. Subversion, GIT and build tools like Maven
Experience of relational database development using SQL and JDBC
Good understanding of the system development life cycle, including change and configuration management.
Experience working with Active Directory
Experience
Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally Financial Services
Business knowledge
Understanding of the PRA/FCA rules and regulations or equivalent
Understanding of risk and control
Banking knowledge
Skills
