Caretaker Position at Prestigious Company in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and welcoming environment as a Caretaker. Our client is seeking a **positive** and **hardworking** individual with a strong **commitment** to delivering excellent **customer care**. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining **security** and **upkeep** at two nearby sites.

The role entails a variety of tasks related to the **maintenance** and **management** of the facilities and grounds. You will be in charge of **security**, **cleanliness**, **porterage**, **maintenance**, **repairs**, **supervising contractors**, and **suggesting improvements**.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as principle key holder (shared responsibility)
- Ensure **compliance** across all areas of the premises
- Conduct fire safety and boiler checks, and **water hygiene** monitoring
- Secure the site daily
- Perform **repairs** and **maintenance** tasks
- Uphold **health and safety** standards
- Assist with **porterage** and event setup
- Other duties as outlined in the Job Description

Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check
- Strong **customer care** and **communication** skills
- **Organized**, **self-motivated**, and **professional**
- **Team player** and **motivator**
- **Independent** worker with **good time management**
- Basic **ICT skills**
- Knowledge of building systems and **risk assessment** (desirable)

Working Hours & Salary:
£24,294 - £28,017 per year
Monday to Friday
Shifts: Between 7am – 6pm (40 hours per week, split between two sites)
