    Description
    We are a leading Engineering organisation, and provide industrial examinations and testing services for any kind of mechanical equipment.

    We are proud to support clients across the country, and are currently looking to appoint a Surveyor to support our Southampton area based clients.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Carry out high quality examinations in accordance with LOLER, PUWER & PSSR (possibly CoSHH and SEMA)Ensure examinations are completed in line with a planned daily schedule provided to you by our efficient central planning teamProduce examination reports using our PRIME reporting system in a professional manner within company service standardsBuild and maintain excellent client relationships and ensure that customer service standards are metDemonstrate an awareness of British, European & International current standardsMaintain technical standards and participate in technical audits (both internal and external)Identify possible business opportunities for the company


    Skills Required:
    Recognised engineering qualification e.g. Level 3 NVQ / ONC / HNC / HND / EngTech / IEng / CEngCurrent U.K. driving licenseProven engineering background within a sound mechanical disciplineExperience in load testing and examinations of simple pressure systems would be a bonus, although external training will be providedFamiliarity with a wide range of lifting equipment; passenger/goods lifts, cranes and plantAbility to work independently but also as a key team memberResponsive and flexible with enthusiasm for exceeding customer expectationsGood knowledge of industry trends, developments and changes in health and safety legislationExcellent written and organisational skills with keen attention to detailIT literateThe ideal candidate will also be an incorporated engineer
