IT Manager - Media Company - London - Hybrid - £60k

Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading Media company who are currently looking for an experienced IT Manager to join their business on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for managing the UK business's infrastructure & software development functions.

This is a hands-on role where you will own and maintain all aspects of IT support and technology operations for the UK business, whilst also overseeingand providing managerial support to the Software Development team.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily operations and systems support, including installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of system software and hardware, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Oversee and analyse all technology operations for all departments and evaluate them according to established goals and business requirements, identifying areas in need of improvement and making recommendations for upgrades, reconfigurations, and/or newsystems to senior management.
Provide support for companywide IT infrastructure in alignment/collaboration with the global corporate IT team.
Provide production support to servers' systems in relation to clientfacing assets, and continuously work to identify opportunities to improve our service and productivity levels and align with corporate standards.
Conduct daily network and server backup operations.
Translate complex data results into easily understood reports and business insights.
Prepare and deliver operational or project progress reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Lead and mentor a small software development team.
Maintain uptodate knowledge and awareness of new and alternative technologies and evaluate their potential effectiveness at meeting business needs against current technologies, and recommend changes/improvements.
Play a proactive and leading role in assessing and advocating for data protection and system security practices and principles that are compliant with relevant ISO standards, and work in collaboration with relevant departments to improve current practices.
