    Description

    Our client is seeking a Head Nurse to bolster their ranks, ensuring top-tier healthcare for patients and impeccable service for clients.

    The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team comprising 1 Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), 2 Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs), a dedicated receptionist, a proficient practice manager, and 2 skilled veterinarians.

    They will contribute to a range of projects across the purpose-built clinic, equipped with specialised facilities including separate wards for feline and canine patients, an isolation unit, and state-of-the-art equipment such as ultrasound, digital x-ray, and in-house laboratory amenities.

    Provide compassionate care and assistance to patients across various medical procedures and treatments.
    Collaborate closely with the veterinary team to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to clinical protocols.
    Engage actively in nurse-led clinics, theatre support, and other clinical activities as required.
    Maintain accurate patient records and uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinic.
    Act as a valuable resource for clients, offering guidance on pet health and welfare matters.
    RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse.
    Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the veterinary industry.
    Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to participate in continuous professional development (CPD).
    Competitive salary ranging from 32,000 to 35,000, commensurate with experience.
