Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Timet UK, for an EBM Operator, based at the Witton Plant.

As part of the role, you will also support the Finance department in:

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the manufacture of Raw Materials into electrode form, ready for melting.
  • Transport and handle material using forklift trucks, cranes, and slinging systems, as and when required.
  • Support and contribute to the area's lean assessment process with the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques to maintain and improve the processes within the area.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities to maintain and improve 6s standards and auditing systems.

Experience and Qualification/Education Requirements

  • High safety focus.
  • Previous welding experience in a heavy engineering industry.
  • Ability to drive a Forklift Truck and operate crane / lifting equipment desirable (although full training will be given).
  • Ability to work under mínimal supervision.
  • Work in a team environment towards business goals and objectives.
