Description
We are looking for an experienced and committed LRC Manager / Librarian to join our established team, who has a passion for building positive relationships with young people to help them achieve more than they thought possible. The successful candidate should be a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional and have a desire to support students from deprived backgrounds.
Our LRC is a busy and popular centre for our students throughout the day and our current Librarian runs an after school homework club every afternoon.
The successful candidate will lead, develop and manage the facilities in our LRC which is used by the whole school community. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, appropriate IT skills and be able to work confidently with both students and staff.
The Astley Cooper School is an increasingly popular oversubscribed secondary school in Hemel Hempstead.
