    Business Applications Manager | People and Applications | FinTech Company

    • Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 with a 15% bonus
    • Hybrid: 1-2 days in the office with flexible arrangements

    I am seeking a seasoned Business Applications Manager to join a prestigious FinTech company that delivers SaaS products offering real-time market feeds and pricing information, comparable with platforms like Bloomberg and Reuters. With around 800 employees globally and headquartered in London, the company is at the forefront of financial technology.

    Role: The Business Applications Manager will come in to understand and analyse the current applications portfolio (circa 200 off-the-shelf applications) and rationalise a plan to ensure these are supported with appropriate change and control. You should be autonomous and take the initiative to liaise with other business functions, question why they are using certain applications, and think about ways of reducing applications or suggesting change where required.

    This role will see you establish a new function including recruiting/inheriting 3 people (initially) to manager. You will be reporting directly to the Head of IT and Delivery with key interfaces being:

    • IT Service team (IT Service Manager, MSPs, suppliers)
    • CRM team (PMs, BAs, Devs, Support Analysts)
    • 3rd part technology vendors

    Some of the core applications you will own:

    • WordPress
    • Marketo
    • NetSuite
    • Salesforce
    • SnapLogic
    • DocuSign

    About You:

    • Previous experience as a Head of Applications or Applications Manager.
    • Strong background in finance or LRC (Legal, Risk, Compliance) applications. The team has a strong technical skillset and is missing this background.
    • Comfortable taking initiative and ownership and implementing change control.
    • Good understanding of integrated environments and DevOps.
    • Jira & Atlassian.

    Interview process:

    • Initial Teams interview with the hiring manager.
    • Teams interview with another person from the team.
    • Final Teams interview with one or two of the exec members (CIO, COO).
