Description

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic leader who can evidence personal and professional development and who has extensive experience in service improvement and recent Critical Care Unit experience in management to apply for the post of ITU 3 Ward Manager within the Critical Care Directorate.

The post holder will demonstrate an ability to lead a team and the role will epitomise the promotion and facilitation of good practice to ensure the delivery of high standard, quality, safe patient care.

They will act as a clinical expert utilising well grounded academic skills to lead the Directorate forward. Leadership and Improvement Training

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills.

You will be expected to attend the leadership development programme, and the Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. Practitioner level in quality improvement, equipping you with the skills to champion, lead and complete quality improvement within your role

After you complete this four and a half days of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses dependent upon your role and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.

Current NMC Registration
STEPS 1-3 qualification in specialist training in Critical Care
Evidence of further professional development
An awareness of Government Documents / Policies in relation to changes within the National Health Service
Demonstrates an awareness of clinical governance and risk management.

Significant experience working as a Band 6 RN/ODP in an acute hospital theatre setting.
