As one of the most established temporary power companies in the UK, Woodlands Power has been serving the industrial power generation market for over 70 years.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the company at a crucial time as we look to expand.

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative who would be willing to deputise into a more senior position during periods of leave.

You will need to be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of conditions.

The role will be based at our Evesham HQ in Worcestershire, but there will be occasions where it is necessary to travel to customer sites.

The role is full time Monday-Friday with overtime available during busy periods.

Key Tasks & Duties

Maintaining warehouse products, checking in/out of equipment and carrying out basic checks & testing, as required.
Working alongside other depot staff & the Operations Manager to organise daily work by checking work schedule.
Maintaining a clean and safe depot by removing scrap, sweeping and mopping workshops and yard, erecting barriers, disposing of hazardous materials, following safety rules and procedures, and wearing personal protective equipment.
Assisting in the maintenance and overall upkeep and appearance of the depot's equipment.
Maintaining work supplies and materials by reviewing work orders, locating and verifying items in inventory, loading items on trucks or pullcarts, moving items to site, and unloading items.
Assessing equipment returned into the depot/warehouse and ensuring records are kept uptodate and accurate.
Preparing work sites by obtaining and delivering equipment, tools, supplies, and materials to customers.
Returning items to storage inventory by loading, moving, and unloading items.
Occasional driving & delivery requirements, plus assisting engineers & drivers with site works away from the depot, where applicable.

Salary:
£7.49-£10.42 per hour
