Relationship Executive, Audience Development - New Model Advisor


Citywire is seeking a creative, ambitious and enthusiastic Audience Development Executive to join our New Model Adviser Channel in the UK.

This is an ideal role for
anyone looking to start a career in finance or media, and involves working as part of a friendly, lively and hardworking team that travels across the country chatting with financial advice firms.

This position is multi-faceted, though the primary objective is to connect with readers of our publication and grow awareness of the brand, events and content.

No prior experience is required, and successful applicants will develop talents in relationship management, writing, reporting, networking, and presenting videos and podcasts.

Autonomy and new ideas are encouraged.

Main responsibilities
The role involves travelling and meeting members of our financial adviser community face-to-face, online and through our events. The position is multi-disciplined and contributes editorial content (broadcast and written), research, and more. It also involves virtual meetings and making connections online.
You will be contributing to a lively and highly co-operative team in a fast-paced environment.

This role will require you to:

  • Work with our audience to create features and create new ideas
  • Research, using the information gathered through meetings with our audience to highlight areas for potential research projects.
  • Promote Citywire products such as events, publications, research and more to our readers.
  • Work with our events team to align delegates with the correct events. You will also attend events to meet with delegates, interview delegates and perform general adhoc duties.

Job specific skills / requirements

  • Flexibility is a must as this role requires extensive travel. The Audience Development Executive will have the ability to work autonomously and show initiative.
  • The Audience Development Executive's communication skills will be excellent, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working under pressure and to deadlines is advantageous.
  • An interest in the investment markets and asset management
  • Strong writing ability, preferably with previous experience of writing
No previous experience required just enthusiasm and ideally an interest in finance.

This role is ideal for an outgoing individual who enjoys meeting new people and building relationships, being creative all while working within a bustling team.
