- Ensure that work/contracts are identified, progressed and fully costed
- Identify the key deliverables from the M&E specification
- Consider profitability & entitlement for the M&E elements throughout the design and construction process
- Liaise closely with the Project Management teams to interview and appoint the right M&E contractors for each specific project
- Maintain business relationships with the M&E supply chain and consultants
- Manages design process, production of drawings/specification and Operation & Maintenance Manuals
- Co-ordinate statutory/utility approvals and the programme of installation
- Co-ordinate the Operation & Maintenance information for project handover
- Ensure energy targets and BREEAM requirements are met for each specific project
- Good understanding of M&E commercial rates across both labour, plant and material
- Fully understands the brief of the M&E work required within a project
- Keeps up to date with modern methods of construction
- Thorough knowledge of M&E installation
- Has previous experience of Commissioning M&E systems and handovers
- Has an ability to understand and interrogate M&E specifications
- Identifies the M&E critical path to ensure the installations meet the construction programme
