    About this role

    To provide full administrative support to the Tournament Operations Department. . To support the Operations Director in the co-ordination of the planning and management of specific Legends Tour events.

    This role will also monitor our Concierge phone and mailbox to co-ordinate responses to incoming enquiries or distribute to the appropriate department where necessary.

    Department Description

    The Operations department manages the running of all Legends Tour tournaments throughout the season. The department also supports the operations of the business as a whole where needed.

    Culture is so important within the department, so we are looking for someone that works hard, helping others in the team where needed, but also enjoys the work that they do.

    Key responsibilities


    • Answer calls that come into the Legends tour phone number
    • Monitor our concierge mailbox and co-ordinate responses to enquires
    • Management and booking of flights/hire cars and accommodation for 10-20 staff at any one event
    • PO and invoice management for events
    • Assist the Operations Director and Tournament Directors with tournament co-ordination and Planning where needed
    • Assist the Head of Staging with equipment logistics
    • Assist with other projects as needed, whilst working as part of a team and assisting as required according to team priorities and workload.
    Experience


    • Event co-ordination
    • Experience working for a Sports event company (Ideally golf)
    Skills and Qualifications


    • Positive 'can do' attitude
    • Able to work under pressure and able to use own initiative
    • Good administrative skills with the ability to prioritise workload
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Able to plan and organise with a good eye for detail
    • Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft office
    • An understanding of golf and golf tournaments

    Desirable:

    • Carnet applications for temporarily importing and exporting equipment
