- Producing timely and accurate management accounts monthly for all UK divisions, with initial submission and analysis of variances to the FP&A Director.
- Owning exceptional cost reporting, in close collaboration with the FP&A Director and Finance Director to align with Group policies and business plans.
- Ensuring on-time completion of month-end reporting, conducting first-level reviews of divisional results, and enhancing reporting accuracy through partnership with the FP&A team.
- Overseeing balance sheet reporting, including reconciliations and commentary on monthly movements.
- Maintaining a robust control framework, proposing updates for review with the Group Accountant and Finance Director to ensure compliance with the approval matrix.
- Ensuring transactions adhere to relevant accounting standards and supporting the rollout of new accounting and reporting packages.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and leading the integration of M&A into the group reporting workflow.
- Managing and developing a team of 10 (direct / indirect reports), continuously assessing skills and technical capacity to support company growth plans.

The Role
