Sales Manager
Our client is a successful, recognisable and highly regarded UK brand, a designer and manufacturer of an impressive portfolio of capital equipment utilised in the forestry, agriculture, landscaping, land and grounds maintenance sectors.
They are an ambitiousand growing business, well positioned and backed within an international group, and are continuing to expand their footprint not only in the UK, but also within Europe and international markets.
Field based, the role is responsible for managing and driving sales through an established and growing UK dealer and partner channel networkThe role includes:
- Establish productive and strong working relationships within dealer accounts.
- Lead joint partner/company planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, targets, and critical milestones.
- Sell through dealer organisations to endusers in coordination with dealer sales resources, visiting customers as agreed.
- Meet targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in dealer accounts.
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including training and support, service, to meet partner performance objectives and expectations.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate dealer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain excellent communication internally and externally and through strict adherence to dealer rules of engagement.
- Lead solution development efforts that best address enduser needs, while coordinating the involvement of company and partner personnel.
- Ensure compliance with contract agreements and drive adoption of company policy and strategy with dealer companies.
- Manage monthly sales and performance review meetings with dealers.
- Support in the new product development process, and with Marketing initiatives, as required.
You will have experience in selling capital equipment B2B, ideally gained within the forestry, ground care, agricultural, landscaping, or related sectors.
Your experience may have been gained within a manufacturer involving sales to end-user customers viadealers or distributors, or equally within a sales or business development role within a dealer or distributor.
