- Demonstrable experience in underwriting, with a keen interest in specialty commercial lines
- Adept at trading and relationship management, with a track record of business development success
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Organised and self-motivated, capable of managing a diverse workload
- Although not essential, prior knowledge of professional indemnity insurance (or an interest in learning) will be advantageous
