A lovely Primary school based in Haringey are seeking an Early Years SEND teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Reception.

This is a very rewarding position working 1:1 with a young boy in Reception who has learning difficulties and autism.

The school are looking for a SEND teaching assistant who has experience working with autism, Severe learning difficulties and is happy to provide personal care.

This SEND teaching assistant role involves pastoral care and general learning support, both in and outside of the classroom, as required.

If successful, you will also be required to support the pupil's integration and inclusion into the class environment.

This is a full-time long-term role starting ASAP and will continue through to the end of the Academic year.

PAY - £80 - £100 per day

This is a large 3-form Primary school located in the London borough of Haringey and is easily accessible by public transport.

This is an Ofsted-rated 'Good' School with 'Outstanding' features and has a reputation for being a great workplace. Experienced teachers offer outstanding support and development.

The role will be ideal for someone who is looking to pursue a career in education and additional training will be provided.

SEND Teaching Assistant for Early Years

Experience working with EYFS pupils

Experience with ASD

PECS or Makaton experience highly desirable but not essential
