Position Summary
This position is to support the achieving of financial targets, KPI's and duties set for the E-Commerce function by photographing and listing items for sale and packaging and dispatching stock once sold.
Main Responsibilities
- To support the E-Commerce management in achieving agreed sales targets, profits and budgets.
- To photograph, list and upload information with accuracy and detail.
- Dispatching items safely to ensure they reach buyers in the best condition.
- Working towards daily and weekly listing and income targets as defined by the E-Commerce Manager.
- To support specific retail initiatives and undertake any related training to maximise income generation through trading activities.
- To support, train and develop volunteers within the E-Commerce function.
- To deliver high standards of customer service through all of our selling platforms.
Duties
- Achieve the level of computer competency as required for the role.
- Participate in and contribute to the organisation's activities, events and meetings.
- Undertake other duties which may be required by the organisation that are consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the role.
Training
The organisation is committed to support continuous professional development (CPD).
There is an expectation that the post holder will complete mandatory and role specific training within the probationary period and maintain a level of competence throughout their employment with us.
Training includes Safeguarding, GDPR and Health and Safety. This list is not exhaustive.Essential Skills and Attributes
- This role requires a basic barring service check.
- Computer competent with familiarity of selling sites and how they work.
- High standards of literacy with a good standard of spelling, punctuation and grammar.
- An eye for detail and the ability to display and photograph stock.
- To demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision and values of the organisation.
- To demonstrate professionalism, whilst having a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
