What You'll Bring:

We're looking for a Senior Big Data Administrator (Lead) to join our growing Big Data Administration team.

Day to Day You'll Be:

You will be based both from our offices in Leeds and working remotely as part of our 'flex together' approach.

In this fast-paced role you'll work with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to establish, maintain and support our Big Data Clusters.

This exciting role will offer a host of development opportunities as part of a growing global business.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Managing Big Data Ecosystems.
Install & Configure Big Data Systems.
User Management (Access and Issues).
Ensuring Operational efficiency.
Data Governance and best practices on Hadoop ecosystem.
SLA and Support structure planning.
Responsible for Design, Implementation and Ongoing Support of Big Data Platforms.
Administration and periodic maintenance of multiple big data clusters.
