Exceptional opportunity for an experienced manager in the medical setting to join a specialist private provider of Addiction Therapy and Rehabilitation, with first-class care clinics UK wide.
Experience of working within addiction care/therapy would be beneficial, but is not essential - we are open to high-calibre (ideally CQC registered) managers from other medical arenas such as mental health, dentistry, residential care or nursing homes, fertility,homecare, hospitals or GP services.
Responsibilities:
- The company's policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines and standards
- Good professional practice and the Company's Quality Assurance strategy
- CQC and other regulatory requirements
- All legal and contractual obligations e.g. information governance, confidentiality, diversity, health & safety and medication control.
- The centre's compliance in safeguarding of clients and management of Incidents.
- Maintaining the centre's compliance and quality in all areas.
- Contribute to the design, quality and maintenance of the therapeutic recovery programme and service delivery.
- Compile and monitor data to produce timely reports and maintain accurate records.
- Linemanage and supervise all employees, bankworkers and volunteers within the team to meet agreed objectives.
- Ensure effective induction of staff and volunteers, with the effective delivery of training and promotion of continuing professional development.
- Maximise retention and occupancy at a level that meet or exceed targets set by the Company.
- Maintaining knowledge of good practice and developments in the substance misuse field and with all relevant regulations to develop and improve service delivery.
- Managing the daytoday operations of the Centre including the rota/timetabling system, care management of clients and the facilities management of the building.
- Overseeing the health and safety of the building and reporting any outstanding issues in a timely fashion.
About You:
- Has experience of overseeing the operations of a medical centre.
- Is proficient in using Microsoft Office, Outlook and other required software programs.
- Has the ability to manage delegated financial budgets
- A versatile and adaptable leader
- Is able to effectively manage the performance of a team and the professional development of a diverse group of employees and volunteers.
- Can successfully manage challenging behaviour.
- Holds the ability to respond flexibly to the demands of the role.
- Will engage in continuous professional development.
