    Key Account Manager – South London & South East UK

    Medical & Surgical Devices: Endoscopy, Interventional Pulmonology & General Surgery

    This position is with the UK Subsidiary of an international, innovative family-owned company that is one of Europe's leading Electrosurgery manufacturers committed to research and development, delivering unique products that are clinically proven to the healthcare market.

    Recent acquisitions have further enhanced the position of the company to provide further innovative imaging solutions.

    The hiring company has gained the leading position in the Global Energy Market.

    The UK Company's success is based on the dedication of its people and the safe and easy-to-use product portfolio which combines technical innovation with significant progress in the development of Electrosurgery and Imaging.

    The position:

    To support business growth in the fields of Surgery (electrosurgery, advanced energy and imaging), Interventional Pulmonology, and Endoscopy (Gastroenterology).

    We are looking for a Key Account Manager to manage and maintain the company's existing accounts in East London (encompassing Hertfordshire, Barts, Royal Free, North Middlesex, Barking, Havering and Redbridge, The Whittington, Great Ormand St, Homerton and UCLH). You will seek out opportunities to expand the current base into prospective new accounts.

    You will be located in the UK (home-based), and live on or close to the territory, with the requirement to travel as required on a minimum of 4 days in the field per week.

    2024 is set to be the company's biggest year, with turnover and headcount both planned to substantially increase.

    Your experience:

    The ability to create, implement and review territory business plans.

    A strong track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets including revenue targets and activity measures.

    Experience in field sales and/or application of medical devices or similar products, as well as working with Surgical Key Opinion leaders in hospitals.

    Networking with Surgeons or Clinicians in the three main disciplines mentioned. As well as supporting clinical trials/demonstrations.

    Managing multiple projects simultaneously through a structured approach.

    A high degree of resilience and the ability to bounce back from setbacks.

    Pragmatic, proactive, problem-solving, and inventive whilst also being open to prudent risk-taking to drive the business forward.

    Excellent time management, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, with Consultants/Academics/ Key Opinion Leaders. Experience in project management.

    Fluent in English and an excellent communicator on all levels.

    The role

    Management of the territory includes supporting existing customers, providing training, developing replacement business opportunities, coordinating trials and evaluations, and planning and implementing projects to win new business.

    Own and achieve the territory sales quota made up of capital, consumable, and service sales including sales direct to customers, via framework agreements and tenders into the NHS and Private Healthcare Sector.

    Regular forecasting and pipeline discussions to demonstrate a clear plan with contingency as to how you will achieve your financial goals.

    Support the day-to-day clinical demonstrations, including management and coordination of key tenders, pricing exercises, and projects in Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, Interventional Pulmonology, and Surgery.

    Proactive engagement and development with all Key Opinion Leaders in your territory.

    Provide regular feedback to the Company regarding development and progress in the respective markets.

    Support key national and international congresses, events, and training courses.
