Mental Health Recovery Worker - Blackpool, Lancashire, United Kingdom - Brook Street Social Care
Description
Do you have the passion and desire to want to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable adults?We're recruiting for a Recovery Worker to work for an established mental health charity for one of their services near Blackpool.
This role will be permanent and contracted for 30 hours per week with opportunity to pick up additional hours where required.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference to people with mental health and support them in their journey to recovery.

Salary and benefits package include annual leave, training, incentives and voucher schemes, pension plan and moreSupporting adults who are experiencing mental health issues, your responsibilities as a Recovery Worker will be to provide the support to the residents on a 1-1 basis to help them on their journey to recovery.
This will include working to support plans tailored to the individuals which may include support with activities, access to appointments, education and overall support to help promote their independent living skills.
Ideally you will have the compassion and commitment to wanting to help make a difference. You will be flexible and adaptable and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Your ability to inspire people will be key and you will be flexible to work on a rota basis including weekends and 1 sleep in per week.
Ideally you will have experience of working with and supporting people with mental health issues, and also have good IT skills.
