Description
We are seeking a self motivated and enthusiastic Cardiac Physiologist/Healthcare Scientist to join our cardiology team in the Clinical Measurement Department.
Essential skills in provocative testing including tilt table testing, MEST and ambulatory monitoring analysis and reporting is required. Experience in cardiac catheterisation and Physiologist Led Palpitation clinic is desirable.This is a permanent post. Applicants must hold BSc ( HONS) Degree in Health Care Science or equivalent qualification and post graduate experience.
Consideration may be given to PTP /Healthcare Science apprenticeship students with an interest in cardiology who are about to qualify.
Performs, analyses, interprets and reports on a broad range of diagnostic investigations ensuring they are delivered in a timely and professional mannerUndertakes training and supervision of trainees and other professionals
Participates in the out of hours On Call rota
Rotate between UHDB (University Hospitals of Derby and Burton) and community diagnostic centres as required
