- Title: Ultimate Tech Leader
- Reporting to: Camp Manager
- Contract: Seasonal work in summer school holidays.
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5.30pm (except on Mondays when you will be expected to start at 8am to set up for the week. Overtime for this will be paid)
- Prepare and conduct tech activities for children aged 8-14, emphasizing engagement, skill enhancement, and enjoyment.
- Directly oversee a team of personnel assigned to you to ensure they provide both the quality of care and the standard of activities expected at the Ultimate Activity Company.
- Ensure adherence to all camp policies and procedures by yourself, your team, and the children under your supervision, including all health and safety, and safeguarding protocols. This may involve introducing new protocols to facilitate the smooth operation of the camp and sustain a secure environment for staff and children.
- Supervise and interact with the children during unscheduled activities.
- Handle administrative tasks and serve as the primary contact point for the parents of the children attending Ultimate Tech Camps.
- Exemplify the Ultimate Activity Camp pledge of 'Inspiring Children Every Day' and exhibit behavior that aligns with the company's expectations throughout your tenure.
- Display the necessary vitality, enthusiasm, and professionalism throughout the season, acting as a representative for Ultimate Activity Camps and embodying a suitable role model for children.
- Undertake other miscellaneous tasks (e.g., equipment maintenance/ordering, etc.).
- Certified, or pursuing relevant certifications, in IT instruction, Computer Science, or a Digital Media-oriented course (with programming experience). Alternatively, a self-educated individual who can showcase their programming knowledge, preferably with JavaScript or Python experience, along with a portfolio.
- An eager, dynamic individual, with prior experience working with children and a dedication to aiding young people in advancing their IT competencies, capable of customizing delivery and structure based on age and skill level, adapting as needed.
- A born leader with managerial background, preferably in IT instruction or holiday camp settings.
- Outstanding communicator, with effective face-to-face customer service abilities. Candidates must be self-assured in their capacity to engage with parents and host school personnel.
- Problem-solving aptitude, along with patience, is crucial. You may need to assist numerous individuals with the same issue on a one-on-one basis, and it's essential that you can guide them through any challenging moments with enthusiasm!

- Hold a Pediatric First Aid (6-hour or 12-hour) certification or be prepared to acquire one through the Ultimate Activity Company.

The Details
Summary of Position
The Ultimate Tech Leader is responsible for the successful delivery of our Ultimate Tech programme, while ensuring the welfare and safety of the children on camp is maintained at all times. We are looking for dedicated and seasoned professionals to assist us in fulfilling our commitment to 'Inspire Children Every Day'.
The role of the Ultimate Tech Leader is to provide exceptional technology and coding activities to small groups of 8- to 14-year-olds attending our Ultimate Tech Camps. You will be in charge of supervising, encouraging, and assisting your Tech Instructors to collectively deliver enjoyable and stimulating technology and coding activities for small groups of 8- to 14-year-olds participating in our Ultimate Tech Camps.
You will guarantee the successful implementation of all policies and procedures, communicating with parents, school representatives, and Head Office when necessary. In addition to conducting sessions, staff members will contribute to maintaining the high level of physical, emotional, and social care provided by the Ultimate Activity Company. A Camp Manager will be available on-site to offer assistance with care and parent-related matters.
