As part of our commitment to continuously improve air quality, we have an exciting opportunity for a creative and self motivated professional to join our Public and Environmental Health Team.


About the role

  • One of the first tasks will be to develop and deliver our schools air quality education project using a variety of interventions and resources.
  • You will be responsible through out the full project cycle, but will be supported by Environmental Health Officers within the team.
  • You will build strong working relationships and act as a single point of contact for the Council.

To be successful you will:


  • Be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or have relevant experience in a similar role, such as environmental health, education, public health, health promotion.
  • Have a teaching/instructing qualification
  • Have a proven track record of managing projects of scale and complexity throughout the full cycle.
  • A project management qualification would be an advantage.
  • This role will require an enhanced DBS check with a children barred list check.
